Abstract:
In the paper, experimental investigations were conducted under various cutting conditions, as planned, during face milling. The cutting force components and tool wear parameters are listed concerning time. The research observed that the cutting force components increase with time and/or tool wear. The relationships between cutting force components versus cutting conditions and tool wear parameters were mathematically expressed by models in powder form. Individual relationships of machining parameters as a function of cutting force changes are presented in graphical form, as well as a tabular presentation of the relationship between tool wear and cutting force components. Determined relationships are valid with strong correlation coefficients and are suitable for process monitoring.
